Had made the appointment for 915 and still at 947am no doctor has seen us. At 930 am the front told us that the doctor would be in late. So then why were we able to make an appointment for 915, if no doctor was going to be there? It made no sense. I even suggested the front told us have any doctor see us, and still we had no one call us in. They simply just don’t care. My kid is two years old, if you can have some compassion then use it or leave the field!

What a nightmare. I went in for a sinus infection, which was confirmed. I explained that as someone who gets them all of the time, I really need antibiotics. The provider said she felt was viral (how do you know, there was no test to prove that), and denied my request. She then said she’ll prescribe me not one, not two, not three, but a whopping four cough suppressants! I told her it was unnecessary because I didn’t haw a cough, nor do I take medications other than antibiotics when needed. She insisted that I would develop a cough and it would turn into a bacterial infection. So I asked again why she wouldn’t prescribe the antibiotic if she felt it was turning bacterial. First , I never ever been to any Urgent Care Center, this was my first time, the wait was a bit long, but, people do make appointments and of course they are seen first, unless you really need someone immediately, I understood this, the staff was welcoming and straightforward, kind and considerate and quite patient, the sign in process was easy, my questions was answered immediately, this place was spotless clean ( a winner) I feel like I got excellent care from the staff especially PA May Vuong, she really listened to me as she was examining me, she told me how to proceed with my awful cold, (Thank goodness that's all it was ) she gave me meds that made me feel much better and explained in detail about this Flu season and how to be careful and cautious, everyone had on gloves , masks and

This incident occurred at Northwell Health–GoHealth Pediatric & Adult Urgent Care and represents a serious patient safety, professionalism, and scope-of-practice concern. This was my third negative encounter with the same staff member, who identified himself only as “Al.” He was not a provider and had no role in medical assessment or clinical decision-making. On Saturday, January 10, 2026, at approximately 7:25 PM, this individual entered the exam room only to state that the provider was running a few minutes late. I expressed concern because my daughter had a documented fever of 103.1°F, a heart rate of 137 bpm, and a known history of asthma. The worst wait times. Waiting area littered with garbage left behind by others. No managers to speak to when things go wrong, which they did. Try phoning the billing department. You will not get anyone to solve simple billing mistakes. The male pediatrician took forever to come into the room then said he didn't care about our child's fever. I wouldn't bring my child back here ever again and I don't advise anyone else to make the mistake.
