Neonatal Intensive Care: UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland

Ever since we had our daughter transferred here from SF, she has done much better, she is much happier and so are we! She went from needing a CPAP to a breathing tube, and off and back to a CPAP with in just a few days of being transferred, and now going to wean her off! Everyone here is amazing and let you be involved in the care for your baby. The dr or np is always there to answer questions, but not in SF. We had a huge issue in SF with one nurse I filed a complaint against and they are looking into. As the allegations are so serious and its is being investigated, I will not mention the details here as of now. Thank you to everyone here who is taking amazing care of our baby girl!

Avoid this NICU at all costs! Drs. Scott, De Jesus, Tanenbaum, Anderson and Dudell starved my baby for eight weeks when she was born very premature. They prevented brain growth and just have no common sense. These hospitals just have to keep babies alive and these poor babies should not suffer from their malpractice.
