Mulberry Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

Back in October we had to move my mother into Mulberry and initially we knew it was going to be a very tough transition for her. Now 3 1/2 moths later the entire staff has done everything possible to make her stay there as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. My family and I give the entire staff, from top to bottom, a very high grade for how the organization is run and how the employees handle everyone there. This includes the entire administrtive staff, the cafeteria staff, nurses, aids, housekeeping and the activities group. I would highly recommend Mulberry to anyone that asks me.

Mulberry has been a blessing to our family in caring for our mom close to home with a family feel. The staff goes above and beyond for my Mom and her care. We can visit her daily and she can still be part of the Punxsutawney community like music in the park.

My mom has lived at Mulberry for almost three years after moving there from assisted living due to needing a higher level of care. It was the best move possible for her. I have been satisfied with her care, the services she receives and the communication from the staff. I have been impressed by the amount of community engagement that occurs with my mom and the other residents. It almost seems like if she can’t live independently in the community, they bring the community to her. They take her and other residents to music in the park, the Groundhog festival, holiday parades, special events at the movie theatre and to local restaurants. After my surgery I went to Mulberry For rehab. Had to rebuild my muscles n try n walk again. I was in the hospital about 3 months, so my muscles atrophied badly. Hospital released me with pneumonia so was going back n forth a few times. The Nurses and Aides are the best. They r all polite n treat everyone with respect. I really miss them. Yes Lacey, office workers r just as wonderful. If I ever need a nursing home again, I will definitely return to them. Love u all, n miss you. Cecelia Henry
