Motive Physical Therapy

As a perimenopausal chronic pain sufferer with little to no options close to home for long-term physical therapy (in other words, therapy beyond what is covered by my insurance), I am thrilled to have found Bryan at Motive Physical Therapy. He came highly recommended by one of my physicians, and now I can see why. With so many PTs out there with cookie-cutter approaches, Bryan's work is individualized, thoughtful, creative, and – on top of all that – effective. But beyond his top-notch skill as a therapist and trainer, Bryan's flexible work model makes him unique. For someone like me, who lives some distance away, our work together consists of twice-weekly workouts that Bryan sends me through a mobile app and an in-person session once a month for manual treatment and review of exercise. I had been dealing with hip pain for over a year when a colleague referred me to Bryan. He was very attentive and formulated a plan that I could incorporate into my regular fitness routine which ensured compliance. Under his guidance, I have been free of hip pain. I have worked with several physical therapists in the past and wholeheartedly recommend Bryan.

I started seeing Bryan for neck pain about a year ago, and the experience has been outstanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable, able to quickly assess what’s going on, and always develops a thoughtful, personalized treatment plan. I noticed meaningful improvement almost immediately. I have since transitioned to personal training with him once a week. I’m genuinely grateful for everything he’s done — I highly recommend Bryan to anyone looking for exceptional, individualized care.

I’m pretty convinced that a great surgeon is only half the battle. I was referred to Bryan by mutual friends pre knee surgery and I could not be more grateful or recommend him enough. Unlike large clinical settings, Bryan offers a 1:1, educational and personalized approach to individual recovery. Not only did I recover and bounce back to my pre-surgery activity level quicker than the surgeon (and I) anticipated, I continue to incorporate various strength and mobility techniques he taught me into my overall wellness routine.

I have seen multiple physical therapists over the years due to sports related needs. Bryan is truly the best. He take a very unique tailored approach and understand how the systems of the body interact with each other. 10/10 recommend. Him and Motive are my go to.
