Mission Carmichael HealthCare Center

In search for a facility for my 91-year-old aunt who is deaf, mute, non-cognitive, and a stroke survivor was a worrisome task. After visiting several 4 and 5-star facilities, I realized that online reviews don’t always tell the whole story. Living in Carmichael, I decided to give Mission Carmichael Healthcare Center a chance for the sake of proximity...My experience with Mission Carmichael proved that what you see in person matters most. Despite some unimpressive reviews I'd read from years ago, I immediately felt the warmth ..The staff is consistently friendly, compassionate and focused, not to mention goes above and beyond...Thank you from our family, to the entire staff for keeping her well-cared for and happy. We appreciate all you do and continue doing ..🌻🙏❤️

I found mission Carmichael medical center to be one of the most helpful medical facilities I have ever been at. I got plenty of attention from there medical staff and they were always there when I called on them. I will add also that there rehab team was very knowledgeable in there approach to rehabilitation on an individual whether they were working with an elderly person or someone that required a more detailed approach to their rehabilitation Overall the staff and upper management have a good understanding of how to facilitate the needs of their patients on a everyday basis. I enjoyed my stay and am glad I choose mission Carmichael for my medical needs.

This place is unsafe. See pictures. My sister was there for stroke rehab. Her room was used to store extra bed, no bedside dresser to place toiletries. Clothes plated on top of boxes in a closet. See the black chair with torn seat & wheels. It’s been 48 hrs, no shower still. On admission no one briefed us on the services. Even worse this center lets the phone ring until call is disconnected, no respect for concerned family The website picture doesn’t match the current physical condition of this facility. Getting paid by Medicare/ insurance. Beware! We trusted the hospital discharge planner & didn’t get to visit the place before hospital transfer.

My mom came there for rehabilitation and immediately was. Left in bed side ways. She couldn't move well on her own. I called the facility and was rudely hung up on. And was bad mouthed by a nurse. This facility isn't where you want your parents if they need help. Such a shame. And a law suit waiting.

My father was here at the end of his (long) life. Compassionate, lovely staff and great facility. I can't be more grateful for the care they showed him.
