American River Center

This is the best experience I've had at a facility. The employees come to work with smiles on their faces and genuinely want to help everyone. They have encouraged me to work hard and the physical therapy is the best I have ever had. Brittney is exceptional and she truly hears what I need. She strives to help me get better everyday by pushing my limits. The CNA Mila always makes me feel good. She always came in singing and was such a positive person involved in my care. Her positive energy makes you feel good even on your worst days. There are plenty of activities to do and it's such a nice clean environment to be in. I feel like all my needs have been met and I would come back in a heartbeat

I was a patient here for over 3 months recovering from a left shoulder brake. When I was first admitted, I was in so much pain that I could barely move. Mila my CNA took wonderful care of me, especially in the beginning when I couldn’t do much for myself. All the staff are polite and nice. I loved going to the group activities and it really made my time here enjoyable. Ben, Brittany and Becky were wonderful and I owe all my strength and recovery to them. I am leaving today prepared to function independently in the real world again. I can’t thank American river enough for all the love and compassion they showed.

American River Center has provided exceptional care to my husband. All of the specialists; Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, RN's, CNA's, MD's. I would like to recognize the two Diane's; Speech Therapist and the Dietitian. These ladies worked hard to assure my husband's recovery. He would also like to recognize Alina, CNA for her exceptional care and her contagious smile. Also, the housekeepers are to be complimented for their hard work The facility is always super clean. Any and all requests were addressed immediately. This facility has an extraordinary group of individuals that make a significant difference in the care that patients receive. My husband and I are eternally grateful for his recovery. I would and will highly recommend Amer

I have been in the hospital since the beginning of January. I transferred to ARC on September 12th. From the nurses, CNAs to the PT staff, my time spent rehabbing here was wonderful. I had never been to a skilled nursing facility and I honestly was not expecting much. But American river has exceeded by expectations. The personal attention to my care was top-notch from day one. It’s very clean, smells great, food is good and all the staff treat you with dignity and respect. The staff has helped me in every way possible for me to transition back to my everyday life.

I was admitted to ARC a little over three months ago with a broken femur. My experience here has been great, everyone has helped me get stronger, healthier and ready to go back home! Ben and Brittany from therapy are amazing and truly cared and encouraged me to reach my full potential. When I first got here I couldn’t even stand up, and now I’m able to do everything I need in order to go home safely. They helped my fear of falling and gave me confidence to walk again. My CNAs, Mila, Millie and Amara were so helpful and careful with me. I have been to other skilled nursings before and they do not even compare to American River.
