Merit Dental - Strongsville

I received a text message asking for my review. To keep it simple, I was not a fan of the staff or how they do business here. Nothing crazy or dramatic, they just were not honest with me when I scheduled the appointment about what services they offered and when I mentioned to them that I was not informed they did not offer root canals in office, they said "teeth are unpredictable." Also, I made it clear I would need a root canal when I called. They also said they believed they would have to pull my tooth, which I didn't want.. I went to Dr. Terri Tran at Hudec 2 hours after my appointment at Merit and she said she could and will save the tooth. For whatever its worth, I just don't recommend them.

Went in on Jan 12th to get a cleaning, mind you I’m 22 years old, I’ve had braces, I’ve taken great care of my teeth. going in- we take X-rays everything’s fine, was told I had 2 cavities- trusting that this place had good reviews had them “taken care of” don’t be fooled, got a second opinion pulled my X-rays and had many more dentists confirm that they ended up drilling into my healthy teeth for no reason, causing me to have to get 2 root canals and they also made my tooth square causing me to now have to get a porcelain crown. 100% Reporting them for Dental malpractice. They should not be open and practicing on peoples teeth. I paid them $300 to cause me more dental work that I NEVER NEEDED to begin with. Completely ruining my mental health my teeth meant everything to me I took pride in

I can't thank Merit Dental enough for their awesome service. Dr. Russell, Randi and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to assure their clients are well taken care of. Everything about their establishment is top notch, including the ease of scheduling, good communication, high level of knowledge and experience, and quality of service and products. Even when entering the office, customers are greeted with a warm hello and personable interaction. The vibe is upbeat, positive and courteous, and it's apparent that the team members are also treated very well. Their operation is like a well-oiled machine. I would recommend Merit Dental to any one of all ages.

All the good things I heard about this place are true. Recently I decided to leave Hendricks Dental because of inconsistency and poor care. The hygienist here, Madonna, was excellent. She took her time and acknowledged my anxiety. Overall this has been the most thorough care I've had in years.

I have been going here for about 3 years. I have been very happy with the doctor and hygienists there. Recently, I have needed some work on ill-fitting temporary crowns. Both times, Rita was able to fix the crowns to make them so much more comfortable. She took the time to make sure that they were done correctly. She was so nice and kind and understanding. She cares about her patients and always makes sure that they are comfortable in and out of the office.
