Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Had a facial here on Monday 12/29 , it was an absolute joke! Do not waste your time or MONEY! I usually get my facials at Charles Scott Salon and Spa, so I know what a good facial is. The young inexperienced girl didn't look over my skin with a bright light to begin the facial like your supposed to, there was no steam involved to open the pores. I felt like she was just putting lotions on my face and wiping them off. The massage felt like a 3 year old was touching my neck and shoulders. My face literally didn't look or feel anything different than before she started, but boy did she push on the add-ons! Instead of pushing all the add-ons to rip off the client even more, your focus should be providing a GREAT experience for the client to begin with, especially for what you're charging! I

I was a member since 2023. During this time on multiple occasions I was charged for items. I was not told we're going to be an up charge and then they charged me a drastic amount without being an agreed-upon. On multiple occasions I had to get off the table because they said I needed a doctor's note at last minute notice even though I told them my doctor was fine with me getting a massage. On multiple occasions they scheduled me incorrectly and ended up with me not being able to get a massage or facial due to scheduling problems. While staff is nice they are inconsistent and only care about making money. I do not recommend this place. There are lots of hidden fees for everything if you have a very flexible schedule and like to be overcharged, this is great place for you.

I had a wonderful experience at Hand & Stone in Strongsville!!! The staff is AMAZING and Megan who I always have do my facials is extremely talented and makes my skin glow! If I could give them 10 stars out of 5 I would!

Paid for a membership that I never had the opportunity to use and had for two months because I could cancel “hassle free” cancelled May 15th as I was unable to keep up. I was told that I could use my two credits and would be charged for one more month: Called in August to schedule my three remaining credits that I paid for and they refused to credit or refund because it was past 60 days.. They said the person who told me that was no longer with them. This is wrong. I handed them money and received nothing in return….

I had a massage with Maria on Thursday 2/13/25. She provided me an excellent massage as a first time guest at this location. I'll definitely be booking again with her when my schedule allows. My only suggestion for front desk staff is to mention memberships at check in while filling out paperwork -BEFORE services instead of afterwards.. The whole point of going is to relax and unwind, the last thing I want to to do is hear about numbers and saving money and signing up for anything when I'm walking out the door. It sort of ruins the feeling of being relaxed as I'm walking out the door..
