Meijer Pharmacy

Basil and his pharmacy staff are the most knowledgeable and professional group of people I have ever dealt with. My prescriptions are always done within a realistic time frame and if things can’t be completed they communicate appropriately. I know they are always doing what they can :) the pharmacy is always clean. I recommend this pharmacy.

I had to call the store manager and report the Pharmacist BASIL. I went to get a prescription after being seeing in the ED. It was a narcotic so I had to hand him the prescription. He said give me 5 min or so. Hubby and I sat down and could CLEARLY see what he was doing. He filled it, put on the label and never called me up. He waited on 2 other people. I stood by the counter and turned to the next person and said I am going to ask for my prescriptions. He said yes you were here before all of us. I said to the pharmacist BASIL I need my meds. He said ALL OF THESE PEOPLE WERE HERE BEFORE YOU. I was shocked! I said I was sitting waiting and you clearly had them done. The man who was next said you were here before me. I will say, I love having the convenience of doing all my shopping and picking up my medication all in one place. The prices from the pharmacy are more affordable than Walgreens but the service isn’t the best. The staff are great but I find myself having to wait some time to get my prescription. My doctor will send the order early in the morning and they won’t be available until the following day unless I call them. That’s only if they have it in stock. Many many times I’ve had to wait a few days for them to restock on certain medication. So if you’re needing a more efficient pharmacy, probably wouldn’t go with them. But if you’re not someone who needs your medication right away, then I definitely would recommend.
