MedExpress Urgent Care - CLOSED

I visited this location late on a Friday evening and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The entire process - from check-in, to my interactions with the nurses, to my evaluation itself - was seamless and the staff made me feel very welcome. Even though I was in pain, they went out of their way to help and were so thorough, polite and genuinely seemed to care about helping me. It’s two days later and I was compelled to write this review because I was still thinking about how kind the staff was. Thank you for exceeding my expectations, MedExpress!

Unfortunately, I've had to come here a couple of times for urgent care. Fortunately, 2 out of 3 times I've been able to see Dr. Eddy! He is compassionate; he listens and truly cares about the patients he sees. I should mention the other providers are wonderful too; from the Receptionist to the Nurses and the Doctors. It's a clean, friendly and inviting facility and they will take the time to meet your needs.

I went in two days ago for my SECOND sinus infection in TWO months. Waited 30 minutes for the doctor to come in, whatever, not a huge deal. She looked in my ears, listened to my lungs, and shined a light on my lip claiming she was looking up my nose. She pressed on the side of my nose and I informed her that only one side felt a lot of pressure. She said I had a cold and pressure on only one side happens in colds. She refused to acknowledge that I had one that lasted 18 days in December and dismissed any other rationale I provided.

I originally went to the Minute Clinic to get treated, but they didn't treat my specific illness. I really needed an antibiotic, and didn't want to wait until Monday, as I was in a lot of pain. I then went to the new MedExpress in Leominster, and they were great. The receptionist, nurses, and Dr. Lanna were all very friendly and helpful. I was out in probably less than an hour, and that includes maybe a 10 minute wait. I don't intend on ever using the Minute Clinic again if I can help it, as MedExpress was so much better!

Everyone here was extremely friendly. I was seen very quickly since I was the first one there. Dr. Eddy is great. He takes the time to explain your condition, how to treat it, how to prevent it and how to follow-up with your care. This Urgent Care is a lot nicer than the other ones in Leominster and Fitchburg. They have multiple check-in desks and a large seating area.
