Coakley Family Dental

My experiences with Dr Coakley, and his staff have been painless and professional. The front desk people are Insurance knowledgeable, and go out of their way to process your claims. I’ve only had one hygienist there and she was very gentle. I got a referral from a family member that works there, and I would feel comfortable referring anyone to that dental office. Newly constructed dental office with young professionals with old values.

This office is amazing! I had my first visit today and am so glad I found it. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The hygienist was incredibly thorough, professional, and made sure I knew what she was doing at all times and that I was comfortable. She provided education I’d never gotten before which was a pleasant surprise! The doctor was super friendly too! Highly recommend!!

Everyone was so kind and professional as soon as I came through the door. It was so nice to see so many kind people in one office especially it being my first visit I was slightly anxious but everyone made me feel welcomed.

I've been a patient for years and I love this practice! After my former dentist retired and sold his practice, I had some negative experiences with a corporate dental group and then someone recommended Coakley Family Dental. They perform my cleaning every six months, they filled my first real cavity 😱, and they have squeezed me in a couple times for more emergent visits. The staff is always professional and courteous and there is nowhere else I'd rather be. They are celebrating 50 years in business and it's easy to see why they've been around so long. I hope to still be a patient for the next 50!

I already contacted the office with my concerns, but I received an email asking for my feedback so here I am. We started bringing my young child to Coakely upon a recommendation from another family and the first few times were great. We have been doing the dentist since our child was very young to get them used to it. Our last two visits, however, (with the same hygienist) were not as positive and my toddler was not comfortable with the experience. The hygienist gave us a referral to another pediatric dentistry and wrote she is “apprehensive” and “uncooperative” on the referral slip, which I think is unfair as my child is very young still. The hygienist was polite, but not warm and did not make an effort to make my child comfortable with the experience. I think this is unique to the hygien
