Mass General Brigham (Belchertown)

The building is lovely. Getting an appointment with the doctor whose name is on your insurance card: impossible. Renewing a prescription and finding out which pharmacy the prescription is at ready for pick up? That was a real challenge also. Getting referred to other practitioners and then learning that they are no longer available in the practice? That happened a lot also. Glad to learn that BIM works for others. I'm happy to be elsewhere now.

This office’s negligence led to a life-altering medical event for my partner. The provider would not provide preventive care needed and refused to prescribe a much needed medication in enough time to provide preventive benefits. The manager, Amy, refused to help, ignored urgent pleas, constituted patient advocacy as harassment, and treated our crisis like a game. If you value your health, avoid this practice at all costs.

Excellent! The building is modern and very comfortable. When I go there is a huge waiting room and very little wait. My last visit there were no other patients waiting. The staff are very friendly. Rayell was fantastic as was Jeanette, Janet and my nurse Robin. Dr. Soar is my doctor and he is very knowledgeable and a good listener. The staff follow-through is excellent. I forgot to schedule my next appointment for next year and they called me to schedule me. They are awesome, there's plenty of parking and it is situated in a nice quiet part of town. Great place! UPDATE: 6/4/24 Yesterday had a quick visit to get my TD booster and the staff was super quick and friendly. Shout out to Rayell at the front desk and Jaimie the nurse who gave me the shot!

Dr. Soar is my PCP, I've been seeing him before he moved to Cooley, and have been very satisfied! He's caring and attentive to what I have to say! I'm always greeted with a friendly greeting and smile from the front desk to the nurses and doctors. Dr. Soar always answers all my questions so I'm able to understand.. I know they're very busy, but I never feel rushed when I'm being seen. I'm very happy and satisfied with the care I receive at Cooley Dickinson medical center Belchertown! Thank you Lee

I am writing this review regarding an experience with the lab on 12/31/24. I have a history of fainting during lab work, and when entering the lab that day I informed the phlebotomist of this and she kindly put a fan in front of me, got some ice, and did her best to make me comfortable.  Unfortunately I did still faint. When I woke up there was a PA in the room in addition to the phlebotomist.  The PA informed me that an ambulance had been called because she worried that I may have had a seizure given the movements I was making while I was passed out.  I told her I didn't want to go to the hospital but she insisted that it was important to get checked out, and regretfully I did not protest more than that.
