Mark S. Fontaine, OD

Brought my 15 year old grandson into this office for an eye exam in January 2025. We were told he had 20/20 vision after a 12 minute exam. We left the office and my grandson complained of seeing double when looking at distant objects. We drove back to the office immediately to discuss this with the doctor. He said his vision was fine. My grandson was adamant that he had double vision so I called the office several days later to talk to Dr. Fontaine because I was not satisfied with his diagnosis. I voiced my concern about my grandson’s ability to drive in the near future with this condition. The doctor did not offer any further testing and again said his vision was fine. I then made an appointment with another eye doctor who after a half hour said my grandson needed prism lenses to cor

First visit and really like this office. Mark LaFontaine is a good optometrist who doesn't try to push glasses on you unless you need them. Also very flexible for scheduling. AND ... kudos to the receptionist who guided me over the phone to the office when a detour made me take another route and had me "lost" about a mile away. Recommend!

Friendly and professional. All five of our family members see Dr. Fontaine for eye exams and eyeglass and contact prescriptions. Cheerful staff always helpful with appointments, both scheduling and rescheduling!

I have been a patient of Dr. Fontaine's for over ten years, since I was a child. It's always a pleasure to "see" him and Barry. 😂🥁👏🏻
