I have trusted Mahopac animal Hospital with my pets for a very long time and every time I feel like I’m getting ripped off and taken advantage of. I recently got my dog a physical exam sent out his stool sample and got his anal glands drained which caused me $500 as expected wasn’t a problem. I was told to bring my dog back in two weeks for a checkup of his anal glands usually a $30 charge for a drainage. I was charged $121 and when I got home and looked at my receipt, I realized that they charged me for a physical Again, so I called thinking it must’ve been a mistake and it wasn’t. They charged me for the doctors time even though he told me to come back again in another two weeks if it happens again, so I’m expected to pay $121 every two weeks for anal drainage and when I told them that s

I can’t thank the team at Mahopac Animal Hospital enough. My dog, Parker, wasn’t feeling well all weekend, so I brought him in. Dr. Vic quickly diagnosed Lyme disease and started treatment right away. In less than 24 hours, Parker was already feeling much better. I’ve been coming here for many years, and their care and expertise never fail to impress me. Dr. Vic and the entire staff are kind, thorough, and always make me feel confident in the care my pets receive. I’m truly grateful for their service and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
