Lucas Family Medical Clinic

This has been weighing on my chest as to whether I should post this or not. My daughter (who has Cerebral Palsy) and I were at this clinic seeking medical care. Our appointment was January 6th 2026 at 4:00 pm. Instead of seeing us right away, we sat there for more than an hour and a half. Be known that the clinic closes at 5:00 pm. We were not seen at all by Dr. Lucas and was not given any explanation as to why. Most concerning was that the physician didn’t speak to me at all. Instead the physician left and walked out the back door without confirming that we were still there. As a parent with a child with disabilities, this experience is deeply concerning and upsetting. Families should not be made to feel dismissed or avoided in any healthcare setting. Clinics have the responsibility to

Exceptional doctor! Not only is she informative but she has something that I think a lot of doctors in this area forget or lack--compassion! It’s not just a business day for her, she goes out of her way and shows genuine concern and gives quality care that is unmatched! Being a first time mom to a 10 month old baby boy, the reassurance and care means everything to me! She does everything she can with the best interest of her patients and their families in mind! We absolutely love Dr. Lucas and are so thankful for her! Super welcoming place!

I don’t recommend going to see Elizabeth. She’s rude and she doesn’t care about her patients. Plenty of patients have had bad experiences at her office.

Dr. Lucas went above and beyond for me today! Excellent bedside manner and I truly felt heard. After a trip to urgent care and the emergency room I was finally able to get some relief after seeing her today! What a blessing she was to me. I wish I could give her 100 stars.
