Local MD Urgent Care

TL;DR: Previous experiences ok despite issues with walk-in vs. Appointment policies. But today experienced unprofessional management, drove 40 minutes unnecessarily, and was unable to be seen. FOR RELIABLE SERVICE LOOK ELSEWHERE, NOT WORTH THE RISK. DETAILS: Previous visits have been ok. Had some issues with being told I had to make an appointment despite the “walk-ins welcome signs” and then the receptionist insisting that I make my own appointment…for 5 minutes later. However this morning I booked an appointment at the Melrose Park location, registered online, etc. confirmation text and email received for Melrose park location at 12:15. When I walked in the ladies greeted me professionally and made me feel welcome. The nurse and doctor were very friendly and thorough. Glad I went. My situation was resolved.

Love this place , my kids and myself all have been here and the staff have always been so kind! You can set a text reminder in case they’re running behind they will let you know before hand. However, I have never had to wait more than a couple minutes! 10/10!

Dr. Dawson and staff are all wonderful. Place is very professional and clean. I just walked in and they took care of me. Dr. Dawson is very caring and answered all my questions.

Thank you so much for making this such an easy experience I felt so well taken care of and it was incredibly convenient having the medical equipment and imaging ability all there in one visit so I was able to come straight home. Thanks to everyone there so much!
