I am a medical assistant for this patient Let me start this off with a quote from office manager, Matt, to patient's primary care directly, " I am aware you are her physician, I manage this place, I say what happens here" This is the response to an ultimatum given of refusal of care, or denial of medically provided staff for the patient. Patient was laughed at by office manager, Matt. Doctor was laughed at by him as well. All within ear shot of patients in waiting room. Matt, at the end of the procedure, informs me that he was mistaken and never knew such a facility actually existed here, when he, 20 minutes prior, told the patients physician that no such facility existed on the premises and should she have clientele that needs such services, she should seek care elsewhere. Just want to leave a little note to say how incredible this staff is. I needed infusions in both of my pregnancies and the staff here just goes above and beyond for their patients. Anything you need to be comfortable, snacks and drinks, they’ve got you. Constantly checking on you, making sure you know they are there if you need them. I find this type of care so rare now, so when I see it I have to make a point to call it out. Specifically Katelyn (Kate) is just incredible and such a light and joy to be around. Thank you to everyone at Lipson for your attentiveness and care. Giving people little joy and comfort in their most uncomfortable moments, deserves a shout out.

I went to the one at unity Hospital, the Lipson Cancer Center. The date on my chart said one day and a card I got in the mail said different so I called there and asked which one was my appointment. They told me the one on my chart. I took the day off and went there and told them I was here. they said no your appointments on the date on the card they sent. This is not the first time it’s happened. They are unorganized and unprofessional. People that have to go to a cancer center shouldn’t have added stress in their life. The least you could do is give them the correct day that their appointment is. My mom just found out she has cancer and I told her to stay away from that place.

Dr. Mehul P. Patel failed my sister. He called her “obsessive-compulsive” when she questioned her test results—concerns that turned out to be life-altering. His dismissive attitude delayed care, and she ultimately lost her voice and ability to advocate for herself. No empathy, no urgency. Avoid him at all costs.

I’ve NEVER had a bad experience at Lipson STAFF sometimes may get busy with others , but my experience hasn’t been nothing but good and very friendly . I usually sleep through my treatment. People always want to find the bad in everything all situations are not perfect but the job gets done.
