Lehigh Valley Hospital–Gilbertsville

I was dealing with norovirus for 48 hours and couldn’t stop puking. So I had my husband bring me here last night. There was no one in the waiting room so check-in and triage was very quick, and I was put back in a bay and set up with blood draw, IV fluids and meds within about 10-15 minutes. I am glad I didn’t read the reviews before deciding to come here because I can’t believe people are talking about the same place. It was definitely better and faster than my experiences at Pottstown’s ER. Everyone we saw was kind and professional. The facility itself is also beautiful and clean. Maybe I just got lucky, but I would absolutely come here again if I needed care that was a step up from usual urgent care issues.

We had to go on Christmas day, because our son had food poisoning. He was in excruciating pain. Despite working on the holiday, every single one of the staff was so kind, professional, and attuned to his needs. They took care of him quickly & got us out in time to pick up meds before CVS closed. I am very grateful for their care! Highly recommend!

Hospital was great however the billing department is terrible. Tells you that you owe a certain amount. You think you’re paid in full and then all of a sudden you get a surprise bill at the end of the year because oops they forgot to tell you about something you owed even after verbally confirming your paid in full. The department needs more training

This Hospital billing department is THE WORST EACH VISIT I HAD WITH EITHER ME OR MY KIDS WITH FULL INSURANCE, A WEEK LATER IM HIT WITH A BILL WHY??? HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?? THE LADY WENT TO FAR KEPT CALLING MY PHONE LIKE SHE WAS A BILL COLLECTOR ASKING WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO PAY MY BILL UMMMM WHY DO I HAVE A BILL IN THE FIRST PLACE ON TOP OF THAT THEY CHECK YOU IN REALLY QUICK JUST TO HAVE U SITTING IN THE BACK!! THE DOCS BARELY OFFER YOU ASSISTANCE THIS HOSPITAL NEEDS A REEVALUATION ‼️‼️‼️ESPECIALLY THE BILLING DEPARTMENT

last weekend i had an accident where i suddenly turned around too quickly and pulled something in my lower back. it was bad. my mother saw most of it and came rushing up to help me. I was sweating, bright red, and shaking and could barely stand and almost asked for an ambulance. I arrived here and was absolutely treated like a drug addict. The first nurse told me i would get an x ray and go from there and the doctor came in and told me he could either give me a shot for the pain or a pill. I chose the pill obviously and was sent on my way with a script. The script code was never put in and I really did not bother to get them because I don’t need or want narcotics. So rude and discriminatory and awful to see. I didn’t come in asking for pain meds, I came in in pain and they wanted to discha
