GIANT Pharmacy

I loved this pharmacy and even recommended them to friends and family. However, recently there has been a new male pharmacist there and every time he’s working there’s a problem with my prescriptions. Today I was told I couldn’t fill a script until 2/16 I asked if it was him dictating that decision or my insurance? He got mad and said “it’s your insurance and I can print it out and show you. I said ok. I knew it wasn’t too soon so I called my insurance. My insurance company acknowledged an error on their part and fixed it. Told me to call the pharmacy and ask them to run again and it’ll go thru no problems. I called the pharmacy back and the pharmacist didn’t like that I did that apparently because he said “no. I’m not filling it until the 16th”. I said ok that’s fine. Got off the phone an

I by far have never had to deal with a more combative pharmacy regarding patient information relating to provider care. Any patient that requires any kind of authorization for a medication should not bother going to Giant since they are unwilling to work with your provider to get your medication approved.

Every time we go here, everyone is very courteous and helpful. They don't make you wait forever and go out of their way to find the best price between your insurance and other on line plans. Can't say enough good things about them.

Great team of employees here at Gilbertsville Giant Pharmacy. After being screwed by CVS for the final time, i moved my scripts here to Giant. I want to make special mention to Jordan for making my day and taking care of my script transfers quickly from CVS. Thank you!!!

Everyone here is so kind and helpful and I’ve never had service like this from a pharmacy before. Please give them all raises they deserve it (:
