Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

I give four stars because the staffing seem to be low and communication isn’t great here. But the nurse I have encountered is very helpful she has pink hair and very nice. You can see her doing her best. Not all staff is bad.

Wendy the Activity Director does an outstanding job with the residents at the facility. She makes sure that the residents on all levels needs are met with enjoyable and fun programs. She is caring, compassionate, and supportive of all on her team. To know her is to love her…..

God Bless you All, Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation staff!! Its been three weeks and the staff here have been great, they have exceeded our expectations. Mom means so much to so many people that her care and needs are essential. I give Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation 5 stars in comparison to many other rehabilation centers in the DMV area. Great Communication, Great Responsiveness, Great Care. The plan with our brief stay in rehabilitation, is to get Mom 86, back on her feet and back home with her family. I will keep you posted!

Do NOT send your loved one to this facility. Your loved one will DIE being in this facility. The workers are lazy, nurse Practioner is incompetent. My loved one was there for rehab and had to be rushed to the hospital with a blood infection, bed sores. The aids did not try to feed her if family was not around and we went everyday. Food tray sat all day. I came in one day, passed the nurse who said my loved one was just cleaned up - they lied, the bed was soiled , patient had not been changed - I called the nursing director , director of the facility, nurse Practioner, nurse — everybody - had a meeting right then. I had to ban one male nurse who was rude and rough to my loved one. I asked that he not be her nurse. This facility is terrible , long term care smells, limited parking

For the most part the facility is good. The young lady in admission is professional and helpful. The floor manager is helpful, physical therapy and occupational therapy there great. All the other staff are good the medication nurses, the CNAs that works so hard. There's always room for improvement.
