Lake Granbury Medical Center

Everybody treated me respect and kindness. They took wonderful care of me and my room was always clean. The wound care nurse was absolutely sent from heaven. You need to hire some more people to help her,even though she was swamped with patients she always made me feel like I was top priority.

I had an exceptional experience at Lake Granbury Medical Center on Wednesday, 1/21/26, while there for Dr. William Sawyer to perform day surgery on my right eye. Which I am blessed to have Dr William Sawyer as my eye surgeon, he and his entire team are always very professional, good at explaining my procedure, and good at answering any questions I might have. Friendly and easy to talk to, just great bedside manner. And everyone at Lake Granbury Medical Center who assisted Dr William Sawyer & Team were also exceptional, like Phobe & Laura. I will be having Dr William Sawyer & Team performing the same surgery on my left eye on Wednesday, 1/28/26 at Lake Granbury Medical Center to, which I hope I get the same Team, because I loved the great experience I had with them on my right eye. My husband had to have surgery. Dr. Harrell was AMAZING! He is by far the best doctor my husband has seen at Lake Granbury Medical. The nurses and staff were very attentive. They made it seem like my husband was the only patient in the room even tho they had multiple. Very respectful, very needed!! Will not go anywhere else!

I saw Nancy Wagner for the first time. I was skeptical because I really like the doc I had before; however he left. She was excellent and we connected right away. She was thoughtful, thorough, and considerate of what I had to say. I loved that she shared a story about how the Lord having a pla for us and how it helped a previous patient get diagnosed early in cancer treatment. I was impressed and look forward to being a patient of hers (as needed).

I came by ambulance to Granbury Medical Center on Thursday Feburary 12 with what I knew to be a small bowel obstruction, as I have had several of these in the past. I was not confident of the treatment I received there compared to my previous treatments of this condition. I was admitted and given a scan to assess my condition which I expected but remained in the emergency room for twenty four hours before given a room. During that time I had little attention from staff. I had to vomit into sink because I wasn’t given any supplies, sat in my own waste because staff otherwise engaged. Once on the third floor, I found response time from staff to be very slow.
