Great pharmacy, very kind staff. v1y

There is nothing like old fashioned apothecary care and concern that the owner Joe Bruno gives all his customers. He knows every customer by name and everything he needs to know about them . Joe makes you feel important but always concerned. His genuine care is real and he puts his customers needs ahead of his own. Large retail pharmacys do not care about their customers only profits. Joe is ghe epitome of what old-fashioned customer care is all about.

I changed to this pharmacy from Walgreens on Rockaway because I could no longer deal with the poor service. And I'll never go back. Today was proof. Frustrated mom with a sick child, nowhere to park, drove and and both sides nothing. It was raining and my daughter was in the car. I called and asked if her prescription was ready and told her my frustration. She came out with everything I needed and lollipops. Made my day after work, pick ups, drop offs, urgent care...I'm grateful.

Pharmacy is there for decades Good pharmacist and they also are a notary public on certain days but the woman who works the register and answers the phone can be rude and abrupt. Why can't she call a customer to inform them that they have a script after they called 3 times asking if they received an important prescription .She can be a lilltle more personable!

Just had to do a shout out to Kalish Pharmacy. I don't usually do reviews but my experience has been so positive I had to share. The Pharmacist is by far the best I've ever experienced. Besides being an expert on all things prescription, he treats you like family. My Dad was very ill and not only did he share his expertize on the 14 medications my Dad was taking, he recommended another doctor that could help him with an issue no other doctor could. When he hadn't heard from me or seen me in a while, he actually checked on me and wanted to make sure my Dad was doing well. The other people in the Kalish family are just as caring. I give this Pharmacy 5 stars. With all the big names out there, it's nice to go to a Pharmacy where you're not just a number and everyone calls you by your name.
