The staff are always so kind and considerate. They treat my dog with patience, compassion, and gentle reassurance that puts my mind at ease knowing my dog is in good hands. They don’t overcomplicate things with medical jargon and they make sure I don’t have any questions. Affordable treatments with outstanding care is what you can expect. I absolutely love Helping Paws and will continue to use them as my go-to veterinary office and recommend them to anyone in need.

Best vet in the area. Ive brought my fur babies to others in the past, but had to change it up after my previous vet sold his practice and the new vets kept trying to give me a prescription for a med that our dog had had reactions to in the past,and it was in her chart not to give it to her. They then argued with me that my dog couldnt be having reactions to it because its generally considered safe, and insisted i should give it to her again. So we tried it again, and she had the same awful reactions as before (imagine coming home to your house full of vomit and diarrhea and your pup dehydrated and exhausted?) Honestly forgot to make a review a few months ago because life is busy, but they literally nixed me as a customer because I didn't schedule *unneeded* check ups for my pets. I have 5 cats and a dog, I can't afford to take them to the vet as many times as this vet would like me to. I go when there is an issue or concern. My cat pretzel was having a problem and they literally would not see him because I didn't bring him to his annual checkup (I couldn't afford it). Not to mention in 2020 when my cat Knox was actively dying, they were "too busy" to see him so I had to take him to a vet we didn't even know. I had never missed an appointment and was loyal to that vet as Dr. Nelson *was* very friendly and accommodating. Also side note- never have Dr Nelson cut your pets nails, he cut through the

WOW, I gotta say. The woman answering the phone has to be one of the most miserable people I’ve dealt with. I just called in to make an appointment and when I gave my name she insisted I’ve never been there. We finally figure it out and she still tells me I must have been there under a different name. I remind her that she wrote it down in her note book back in March and April when I was there. I even said I just received my dogs six month supply of medication from them. All I wanted to do was make an appointment for a vaccine. Sure I was getting upset. She clearly don’t know how to handle people or do customer service. I finally asked to make an appointment and she tells me to go elsewhere! Well, all the times visiting the office and being asked to do a google review to help their ratings

The vets mother-in-law needs to learn to mind her business and not interject her opinion on your personal life situations when you didn't ask for it. She says the issues need to be resolved outside of the vet office but proceeds to tell you you're wrong. Changing my vet because of her
