Harbor Regional Health Emergency Department

I needed to go to the hospital and was concerned after reading some of the reviews. I had a very good experience. The staff working there were kind, considerate and really helped me. The waiting room was clean. Some of the furniture was old, but everything was clean. The Admitting Receptionist seemed a bit overworked but got everything done very quickly and easily. The Lady taking my insurance information was so kind, too. The Triage Nurse was Amazing and explained everything with Great kindness, wisdom and understanding. She really helped me stay calm. The Doctor understood everything and was extremely attentive and instantly knew what to do and I was able to quickly get a shot and medicine for the pharmacy and go home. The entire process took only 2 hours. I Really Appreciate the Care

First thing I need to say is I have been to the emergency room at least 40 times for asthma in the past 25 years and these were one of the best all around,! Dr. Alcantara, Ryan MD was all but everything you would want from a care provider. Excellent listening skills fast persize orders and his nurse ZDM was fantastic. I went in feeling like 30 well to when I left only an hour or Soo later feeling 95% better. AAA+++++

My mother arrived to the emergency room in a dire health event -- we lost her at 84. She lived a full life. During those four days, the staff in the critical care unit made us feel that we were the only people in their world. I am eternally grateful to them for allowing us the experience to say goodbye to her and for the love and care they showed to us during that time. The staff are a gift.

I just want to say how thankful I am for each and everyone of the nurses and doctors who took such good care of me while I was there. From the emergency department and everyone on the 3rd floor. You guys all saved my life and I will be forever grateful. I've NEVER had a good experience in the past years with this hospital but this time around was absolutely amazing! I feel so much better because of each and everyone of you. Thank you all again.

We have needed the ER services 3 times in the last 4 years and have always been satisfied with the wait time and service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are caring and compassionate. Honestly, I don't know why there are so many 1 star reviews.
