Title: Avoid for DOT Exams – Incompetent billing and medical paperwork I chose this location for a DOT exam, and it was a mistake from start to finish. I was quoted $120 by their Neptune office, but when I drove 30 minutes to Eatontown, because the credentialed doctor was there and not in Neptune the experience was a disaster: * I called ahead to eatontown to confirm and wasn’t informed of “ cash only “ First there was nobody at the front desk just a sign keep in mind the place was empty . • Shady Pricing: When asked about insurance I stated I was paying out of pocket and asked the price of the exam . The front desk guy “ Peter” looked at a piece of paper and said $150. Then claimed he didn’t have access to the card machine so I would have to pay the $150 cash , so I had to leave and g
Came in later in the afternoon on a Saturday. Myself and my two boys (5 & 7) needed to be seen for potential flu. The staff was so incredibly kind and kept me in the loop because there were about five people in front of us. The tech Peter was so kind and patient with my boys and made the uncomfortable step, flu, covid testing go so quick and painless. Our doctor was incredibly kind even though we were the last of the night. From the receptionist to all the help received I was impressed and grateful.
I have been going to this building since it has opened. My pediatrician moved here a few years ago so I switched all my doctors to this location. Everything they have is so modern and clean and all new state-of-the-art equipment. My review today is about the staff at this location. At the primary health care office of Dr. Rodgers, one of the staff there Brianna S, has been helping me get pre-authorization for a medication my insurance suddenly denied. She not only responded to a flurry of inquiries from me, but helped putting in requests and sending information over and over again even after the appeals were denied. This went on for over 5 weeks. She made it happen, took all the steps to help me as much as she could while also keeping in touch with me to reassure me she was working on the
Came in for a X-ray after I rolled my foot & ankle. Receptionist was busy doing multiple things. Took about 15m bit to get checked in and then another 20-25m to get called back. There was no one waiting when I arrived. I waited 1 hour to see the doctor from arrival. The Rad Tech called me from the waiting room and took my vitals. He was nice but you could tell he was juggling multiple things at once. The Dr came in and literally was in the room with me for 90s. No introduction, and had a very dry cold demeanor. Felt like I was a waste of his time. Rad Tech came and got me for the xray pretty quickly after. Dr came about 2m after I got back from the xray and was just like it’s not broken, take Tylenol or Motrin, and wear more supportive shoes. I asked if should get a brace, and he said if i
Poor experience. Doctor did not listen to me. It felt like she was reading off of pre written script of what to say or do. Care was not customized to me as an individual. She also told me the cough I still had from a virus (a month prior) was from allergies. Complete waste of time. Can’t wait to see what insurance will charge me for this visit. Front desk was prompt, efficient, with quick turn over. Nurse listened better than the doctor. But at the end of the day, does that matter if the doctor doesn’t listen to you?
