Granbury Care Center

After so many months have finally found a place to move our loved one. This place improved some after our previous complaints. Still don't like how my loved one is as scared of DON but nurses and aids are good.

Have an aunt with memory problems. When she arrived here it was great but shortly after the staff dwindled down and it was horrible getting answers from DON. Very quickly a whole new administration came in and it was back to normal. Actually, it has improved so much we love going and visiting our aunt. The staff is friendly and very caring. It all streams down from the top, kindness goes a long way. They have activities through the day and even appetizers before lunch. It’s truly a community at this facility. My aunt has friends and even I have made friends with other family members. My sister goes up for church service on Sundays and she says the service is really great. They offer all the amenities that are a part of everyday life, it’s really a great fit for our family needs. Oh yeah, t

Beware of this establishment!. A woman with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigs disease, was admitted here and died two days later. Before her death occured, they denied her her rights, ignored her requests, and retrieved her only means of communication, her phone, and ignored previously given permissions with her caregiver to help with the transition. As a daughter of a woman with ALS, this sickens me the way Grandbury Care Center treated this patient. The patient was in such distress that she died within 48hours of moving in. Do not, I repeat, do not send you loved one here to live. Adult protective services have been notified.

I have met some of the friendliest and caring people here!! The facility is clean and the residents are happy!! It’s truly a hidden gem in Granbury!! If you’re looking for a place for rehabilitation or long term care… this is a great place!

This is such a wonderful place to live! I have had 3 family members stay here. My dad was skilled here two months ago and the therapy staff was wonderful!! They got him back to his strongest self, if not stronger, in just 15 days! Judith, the marketer, reassured us that Dad would be taken care of well. She gave us a tour of the beautiful rehab to home hall and had the most wonderful personality! Jeremy and Barbara in the Business Office also assisted me in applying for Medicaid, and they were INCREDIBLY helpful! Miriam at the front desk always has a smile on her face and is happy to greet you walking in. Tiffany the administrator is always so bubbly and happy to answer any questions I may have had. Emily is such a wonderful social worker and helped us find the best home health agency. They
