Gold Star Dental Station

I have been going to Gold Star for some years now. It is about 1 1/2 hour drive for me but the drive is worth it everytime because they are the most genuine and caring staff I have ever dealt with... Brooke, and Jason, absolutely the best!!!

The staff was excellent, however the dentist was a different story. After patiently waiting an hour to see Dr. Z, she was condescending and dismissive towards me, very short and talked over me the entire time we interacted. I didn’t find her to be warm, inviting or professional in the least. No eye contact when talking and then left the room without as much as a thank you or goodbye. Plus she didn’t even take a peek inside my mouth, which she said was protocol. In my 58 years, that was a first. Perhaps she was having a bad day. I was really hoping this dentist was going to be a good fit but unfortunately I will NOT be going back.

We recently moved to Sun City West and had to find a new dentist, which is always a daunting task. We are very happy we were able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Z and her staff. The dental hygienist are excellent (thorough and gentle and explained what they are doing). Dr. Z made us feel comfortable and confident in her clinical options. Aaron was very knowledgeable about our insurance and with scheduling follow-up appointments. The entire experience was pleasant!

I am always so impressed by this practice. The doctor is great current and surrounds herself with smart bright kind competent people. It is just a pleasure to be around a wonderful functional team!

I won't be back. Hygienist scheduled me for a follow up cleaning. Said insurance would pay. Upon leaving checkout says I owe $130. Says my insurance is maxed for the year. I feel I didn't really need the work but just went a long with it since it was paid for. If I had been informed of the insurance situation I could have scheduled 1 months later in January. I feel the hygienist is doing unnecessary work to make more money. My advice, stay away from this practice
