Gamez Penny OD

Dr. Gamez is hands-down the friendliest optometrist I've ever worked with. No disrespect to my childhood OD, but she was so nice and personable, and having worked for a nightmare of a eye doctor, I appreciated her demeanor. She listens to you, and lets you participate in your treatment, where appropriate, so that you are informed and aware of everything that is going on with your vision. I'm not happy that I can't box because of my near-sightedness, but at least I know about that limitation. I recently left the DFW area, so I unfortunately won't be able to continue seeing her, but I strongly encourage everyone who needs a new optometrist to see Dr. Gamez. She is the best.

The office call taker tried to diagnose eye conditions over the phone and ended the conversation by refusing to set up an appointment based on their assessment. Will not be back.

I went here last year almost up for renewal, Dr Gamez is so friendly, I am returning to her. Very explanatory, she is very detailed, and makes you feel at peace when speaking. I really appreciated her work and dedication and that’s why I will keep her as my eye Dr!

Dr. Gamez is friendly, efficient, and she cares. It's amazing how, even though I only see her once a year, we've developed a good Doctor/patient relationship. Highly recommended!

Dr. Gamez is really professional, friendly and so funny. She makes my eye appointment easy. She offers solutions when it comes to providing great customer service. I have trusted her with my eye needs for the past 7+ yrs will continue to see her annually. I would recommend her to anyone.
