Food Lion Pharmacy

This pharmacy is amazing, they are so much quicker than Walgreens and CVS. I highly recommend this Food Lion Pharmacy on Buffalo Lake Road. The staff is friendly and you don’t have to wait forever like you do with a lot of the big pharmacies.

This pharmacy needs a lot of improvements. I was told my prescriptions would be ready by 4pm.. I arrived at 4;30. Not ready. Come back in an hour. Still not ready. Came back a third time. Jon the technician was very apologetic and nice. They need more staff.

The pharmacist and staff are really knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It's clean, everything is organized, and just a great pharmacy overall. They've also had the same pharmacist consistently for years, which is really great because there are other pharmacies outside of Food Lion that seemingly go through pharmacists every few weeks. Having that kind of consistency is important because not everyone is comfortable with talking to new people, especially new pharmacists, so I'm happy it's the same nice guy that has been there. He even answers any questions you may have about vaccines, medications (both prescription and otc). Of course I recommend this pharmacy.

Giving this pharmacy 5 stars because of the pharmacist and Paul the pharmacist tech! Thank you for always being proactive, kind, and helpful! With pharmacies being incredibly backed up and short staffed… the kindness and willingness to help hasn’t gone unnoticed!

This pharmacy does nothing to help you now. I used to get great service. Now they takes days to fill a prescription and it still is never ready. Let prescriptions expire and dont tell you and today was overcharged for medication because they would not print a manufacturer coupon and deduct the cost. Was overchareged $70 dollars
