FirstHealth Primary Care - Sanford

I’ve been a primary care patient of Dr. Roehrs for several years now. While the clinic may have administrative issues, that need addressed above the clinical staff - I’ve never had a better PCM. I’m relatively young with several chronic conditions and a long surgical history. Dr. Roehrs treats me with respect and kindness and always ensures she’s done everything she can to help. The clinical staff have always been kind and attentive. I am personally grateful for her and her team. I will agree that First Health Administration needs to do better. Their internet is regularly not working which is a huge inconvenience to the medical staff and patients. It’s preposterous to think a medical facility of that size has no back up internet plan. Dr. Lakshmi A Madduru is the best! She listens and actually cares! She heard my concerns and even her nurse Nadia is very attentive. Definitely recommend her and her team!

Took my daughter there with stomach pains. They took an X-ray and determined she was constipated. Gave me directions on how to care for her. Turns out she had severe appendicitis . It started to leak. I understand you can’t see an appendix on an X-ray but I’m sure by touching her stomach a certain way shouldn’t of ruled it out.

Horrible experience when I went in with a broke tibia. This was broke 10 months before and I re-broke it. The examining PA read the x-ray and told me my ankle was sprained. He told me to ice it and sent me away. After two weeks struggling to walk on it, I had an orthopedic surgeon in Cary look at my x-rays. He told me to come in immediately. He took new x-rays and confirmed the break and scheduled me for surgery two days later. I later found out that the PA at First Heath that saw me was informed by a radiologist at Moore that my ankle had a break. HE failed to get ahold of me to let me know. What incompetence! These dudes are only worried about number, clearly they don’t give a crap about people.

Kelly Baker Tillman was horrible to me. Not at first, she is good at pretending to care about people but there’s no way that she really does. My family went through something terrible and she said she would do anything to help. She offered to have me take a test to make sure I was taking the right meds for my situation. I thought they were working okay but if she thought that was best, okay. The test came back saying the meds were fine but then I get a bill for this test that I didn’t need or want that she never told me there would be a change for. I trusted her and she scammed me. When I called to ask why no one told me there would be a charge the nurse told me I signed the big long waiver (no one ever reads). When I told her they had a legal obligation to inform me of the cost they fired
