Totally hate the new AI receptionist that they have. My practitioner has canceled my appointment twice and I’m totally frustrated with this practice. I would highly recommend going someplace else the frustration is not worth it

What a joke. The people at the front desk, very polite, friendly, and seem to really care about helping. That being said, the rest of the business is a joke. I went to this location for HS, and had a great doctor who unfortunately left the practice. His treatment plan was a life changer for me. After he left, I was assigned to a new provider that I don't even know if they specialize in HS. While making the appointment I was told on the phone that treatment plan that has been a life changer for me, would change. I told them to cancel the appointment and that this doesn't make any sense. Let's get rid of a plan that has been working and try something new. Why??? Not long ago I got a bill for a no-show. I’m 40 years old, I have had enough surgeries for a lifetime, and I had to have a biopsy, and that was hands down the SINGLE BEST medical appointment I have ever been to! They were all so wonderful, and caring, and gentle and, professional. Just the best medical express I have ever had! -Felix

They don’t answer their phone. Answering service says they will return call in three business days and never heard from them. This was twice it happened. I have never heard of a medical practice not having a receptionist answering phone directly once you choose a prompt. My husband is a patient also, but will not be going anymore.

My insurance accidentally paid the claim twice so they took a payment back. Empire dermatology didn’t like that and refused to see my child after for his next annual exam, and didn’t tell me until we showed up for the appointment. They won’t refill his prescriptions and even though insurance says we owe empire nothing. Empire dermatology won’t even show or give me a statement of what I owe . Insurance shows it was paid as well as the copay. Do not go here they could care less about you and only care about the money. When you try to talk to the office manager you are told she isn’t available and to leave a voicemail. I have left 5 voicemails over 5 weeks and have never gotten a return call
