I recently went to East Town Dental to get two dental implants done. Although the chances are low for failure (about 5-10%), one of my implants failed. The doctor stated that it was nothing that I did or didn’t do during this time, but that there is always a small chance of a failed implant, even though they may follow all the correct procedures . In any case, we had to start that whole dental implant over again. So, of course, it took twice as long, and cleaning it out from infection was not a very pleasant experience. The doctor did not charge me for a new implant, however, which apparently they said they could do. I had a wonderful experience with Dr.Froebel! I I was anxious about getting my extractions out, but it was quick and painless. Took about 10 minutes if that. I love how clean the office is, and the staff is very professional and accommodating!

While the hygienists here are absolutely amazing, the overall experience with the office has gone downhill. I had been coming here for years without any issues, but out of nowhere, they dropped my insurance because they “weren’t getting paid by them.” It would’ve been nice to know that before my visit. I decided to keep coming because I liked my hygienist and planned to just pay out of pocket and get reimbursed. But at my most recent appointment, the front desk told me I didn’t have insurance at all. I actually did — they had called the wrong company and never mentioned it to me beforehand, which left me scrambling to sort it out and made me late. Out of frustration, I decided to switch to a new dentist and requested my records, but they weren’t sent until I followed up a second time. I

my son had an abscess that needed to be taken care of ASAP. East Town Dental got us an appointment and extracted the tooth quickly. my son is 7 and has never had anything like this done so I was worried about he numbing and pulling. I don't think he had any idea what happened because everything was quick and painless. the techs were kind, gentle, and awesome and Dr. Froebel was upbeat, gentle, and quick! highly recommend this practice.

While Dr. Froebel is undeniably an exceptional dentist, I am incredibly disappointed with his recent decision to terminate his contract with my insurance. As a patient, I have no choice in the insurance provided to me by my employer, and this abrupt change has left me scrambling to find a new dentist. I understand that dealing with some insurance companies can be difficult, but it’s frustrating that Dr. Froebel, who has the luxury of choosing which insurances to accept, made a decision that impacts my ability to access affordable care. I hope in the near future I can remove this review and give the 5-stars he deserves.
