Been going here for sometime and I absolutely appreciate Dr. Jacob’s and Tiffany. They are both so patient and understanding with my kids. My son is Autistic and they have been able to provide him with the needed supports to complete his dental work. Tiffany takes time to talk with you to help ease your anxiety prior to the procedure, Dr. Jacob’s makes you comfortable as well by joining in the conversation. I truly appreciate them both. I think they deserve a shoutout for making family’s feel comfortable and expected.
Jacobs, Dion DDS is a GREAT dentist, first and foremost. The hygienist is good as well. They do well with cleanings, fillings, and general oral care. Very friendly. Treat me nicely. They did a root canal on me, the first phase only with a temporary crown, which they did well with. This review is more about how the receptionist books appointments. Poorly scheduling my treatment, despite knowing these root canals are done in two phases normally, putting me on a waiting list, waiting 11 weeks for the second phase is unprofessional service. With the high volume of patients within the area, I understand why, however this wasn't right. Patients who have been waiting months for future appointments are most likely not going to want to cancel them, especially root canals, so how is it even guarant
The only good thing they did for me was give me a prescription for antibiotics which I do appreciate. HOWEVER I have a bad tooth that they would not/did not pull when I was right there. Kept saying I need a physical. For what? I am sure they have a blood pressure monitor right there. And Ashley keeps on THINKING that it is so very easy to get a new health care provider. Tells me to call my insurance company for a list of medical providers. FIRST OF ALL, I really don't like calling, I like email secondly, I don't really need to call anyone. All I need to do is go right online and there will be a whole list of medical providers right there. Third, You cannot force anyone to accept new patients or to accept your insurance. I had a dental issue that needed a quick response. When I called for an appointment, I was made to wait MONTHS to get in. Once in, the female dentist I saw talked to me like I was a child. She was "educating" me as if I had never been to a dentist EVER. But considering all the fillings and crowns already in my mouth she should have known better. She scolded me repeatedly and talked down at me. I was in tears in the chair and she didn't care at all. She was just mean. I voiced my concerns with the management at this office and they did nothing to help me. They just let me walk out the door with NO resolution of the original issue....even now a year later! Never bring your child here. I brought my son in, he mentioned he was scared and didn’t want to open his mouth just ONCE. The newer lady id never seen before had no bedside manners, didn’t even try to talk to my son. Just kept giving me dirty looks and said, you’ll have to go somewhere else, and good luck because one will take your insurance and the closest place is at least an hour away. You can try and bring him back in a few years. He’s almost 5, then tried to make me feel bad by saying he should have been coming for years. Umm, we’ve been on the waiting list for at least a year now First off, you didn’t even try and talk to him and you never once asked him to open. Just told us to leave and better luck elsewhere.
