If he tells u ,,you have cancer I strongly recommend you get a second opinion from a medical oncologist Texas proton therpy center Irving Tx, or MD Anderson ,i choose the first very satisfied But Dr Doubrava is a pessimist and will give u the worst case scenario,an act like it needs to be done right away ,like hormone therapy a shot 20,000 dollar shot Which u may not need or u may Why the second opinion from a cancer center!!!also there are more test that can be run Like a decipher score ,the decipher score tell the doctors the probability of it spreading by checking ur genetics of ur biopsy , there r alot of other options besides surgery ,an major life style changes To proton therapy with minimal side effect an a normal life after treatments , So will say a

I don’t typically leave reviews publicly, as I don’t want to be viewed as a “Karen” when I am never this person, but the HORRIBLE experience that I had with Dr Doubrava was an experience that I needed to put out there to inform others of what kind of doctor he is. I will call things as they are, and despite the horrible encounter I had with specifically him, all of his nurses/reception staff were very friendly and I have nothing bad to say regarding that aspect. I was referred to his office by my PCP because I have been experiencing reoccurring UTI’s since I was a child, and have been sent to the ER 3 times for kidney infections in the matter of 6 months since having my son. On top of that, have been having issues with having to use the bathroom multiple times throughout the night and neve

Dr. Doubrava quickly worked me in the day after he received my referral, after reviewing my scans and lab work he recommended surgery and educated me on the reason why it was necessary. The following day I was in and out of surgery with no complications, the entire Wise health team made the experience smooth and comfortable. Had my surgical follow up the next week, Dr. Doubrava educated my wife and I over the pathology results and options moving forward. Great doctor that is tentative and knowledgeable!

I’ve had an amazing experience!! He got me in extremely quick. reviewed my scans with me and my husband and he explained everything to us and our options to resolve my 9mm kidney stone. First TIME ever getting a kidney stone and Dr. Doubrava and his staff were extremely nice, welcoming and very concerned about me. As well as all the his staff at The hospital For my surgery. I can’t say Thank You ENOUGH!! I recommend Russell Doubrava and his staff to everyone !!

I passed blood in my urine 2 months ago. My family physician gave me antibiotics, flo-max, a full blood panel, and sent me for a CT. Then I get sent to Russell Doubrava. Doubrava says he wants to run a scope up my penis. During this attempted scope procedure experienced more pain than passing a stone, I am bleeding from my penis, and Doubrava wants me to see another specialist in FW. I was told to buy an OTC med called Azo and then Doubrava said I needed to sign a paper and I could leave. The paper I was supposed to sign was the consent form (with all the precautions and side effects) for the scope procedure. I told him he was full of crap and walked out. Unprofessional, uncaring, and he got paid before he caused my pain, bleeding, and suffering.
