This doctor is not professional at all. She is arrogant and rude, she does not listen to your concerns. She denied me her service only because I kindly asked her if she could order a lab test to detect a bacteria that we can easily acquire and that more than half of the population can have without showing symptoms and it is scientifically proven that it causes cancer if not treated in time and this doctor humiliated me saying that she is the doctor!! Been coming here 4 or 5 years now. Dr Veena Gulaya is the best. She really tries to figure out whats giving you problems and tries to find the best medicine for you. Brianna at the front desk is the best too, always friendly and takes care of business.

When I went to Gulaya with possible depression I was disregarded because I was "too young to be depressed" and I just "needed to go outside more". When I went to her again for anxiety I was told I instead needed to see a psychiatrist because she didn't feel comfortable giving me anything. I went to her a third time to restart my ADHD medications because I was starting online schooling and was told that she again was not comfortable giving me that medication, despite it being documented in my chart that I was taking it for the majority of gradeschool and all of middle and high school, and that if I wanted to restart it I should see a psychiatrist. The receptionist returned my call to schedule an appointment for my annual exam. She said appointments were pushed out until August due to covid. She then proceeded to share UNSOLICITED information about an encounter between Dr. Veena Gulaya another patient that I happen to be related to. When I told her that it was not any of my business and it was highly unprofessional she continued regardless- speaking over me. She then told me that Dr. Gulaya was still holding a grudge about the incident and refused to see me any longer as a patient. I am very disappointed in how this was handled by the staff and Dr. Gulaya. EXTREME UNPROFESSIONAL PRACTICE. HIPAA VIOLATION!!!!
