Dermatology and Skin Care Associates

My experience was horrible. The nurse practioner came in with very little bedside manner. She began to tell me what she was going prescribe, but she hadn't said anything about what she thought it was or wasn't. I had to pull info out of her, to try and understand why she was suggesting the medicine she was telling me to get. She did not make me feel comfortable at all. I already have an appointment with another doctor and I will not be back for a follow up.

I’m honestly shocked this place doesn’t have better reviews. My wait was very short and Dr. King and her staff were very kind and personable. I’ve been very emotional about my hair loss at such a young age, she gave her sympathy and lots of useful information. My visit was not rushed and I even got my blood work done same day, I don’t remember her name but she was amazing and knows how to work the needle (LOL). Amazing experience, thank you ladies 🫶🏼

This was my first experience with a dermatology office and while the staff was great and the service was great, the billing portion could use some improvement. I was charged $650 upfront for my excision which I paid on the date of service after being told once it was run through insurance I would be refunded if it was covered. My service was in May 2025 and I haven’t heard from anyone since. I called my insurance again today to verify that the claim was indeed covered and they confirmed the patient responsibility was only $57. I tried to call the billing department twice going to voicemail both times . I’m hoping I’ll receive a solution as I’m due for my annual skin check soon but the lack of communication is frustrating as it’s been almost a year. I assumed there was no refund due b

I used to go to Dr. Muennich when it was a small practice and always had a great experience. Since the office expanded and the business grew, things have changed a lot - unfortunately not for the better. It became almost impossible to get an appointment with Dr. Muennich herself, and I was scheduled with a nurse or another doctor. Each visit I was required to pay $144 upfront, regardless of the reason for the visit. I was told that once my insurance processed the claim, I’d receive a credit - which took quite a while. Eventually, I had a credit of about $120, but it was later taken away as a “no-show” fee for an appointment I did not attend. Dr. Muennich has been my Dermatologist for 18 years. And she correctly diagnosed an autoimmune issue I had developed over a course of many years. She is fabulous with medical and cosmetic procedures. I would not go anywhere else! Her practice has my full trust!
