Deaconess Henderson Hospital

Deaconess in henderson is horrible. They dont care about their patients. My mom was disabled due to a stroke. In June of 2025 she started getting sick. They blew it off as low blood sugar. I took her to her Dr and he gave her something for nausea and depression. The end of July back to the er. The whole time she had aspiration pneumonia. She was in for a week. Then back in a week in August and September. She was treated horrible. They would leave trash on her bed. The bedrails down. She ended up with bedsores. They were in the hall talking bad about her while they were transporting her from er to her room. We would call for her pain medicine. They would say they were coming. An hour later they would bring it. She would need to be changed or turned. They would say they were

Deaconess Henderson Hospital should be absolutely ashamed of itself. They refused care to my pregnant partner who was very, very ill and clearly in need of medical attention. Let that sink in. A hospital — a place that claims to save lives — turned away a sick, pregnant patient and left us to fend for ourselves. This wasn’t a minor issue; this was someone who needed care and was denied it without compassion, urgency, or accountability. To make it even worse, while my partner was actively vomiting and visibly unwell, staff laughed at them instead of helping. The doctor involved, Dr. Aleeki, showed a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. What should have been treated as a serious medical situation was handled like a joke and an inconvenience. The people at this hospital saved my girlfriend’s life, and removed her gallbladder which weighed 5 pounds because it was chock full of stones that somehow the other hospital we went to missed. These people are so polite, and were very patient with us. They will forever be in our debt.

There was no communication between the hospital and the family regarding billing issues. The nurses decided to communicate with a diagnosed dementia patient all details of transport as opposed to the family members who care for her. Dodging calls, not answering questions. Doctors constantly unavailable, care management not returning calls. DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE HERE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER! Our mother was sent there with possible bowel issues and was to be transported to a nursing home for dementia because she was not kept on oxygen although she was diagnosed with COPD!

The nurses, especially the ED nurse, unacceptable. First off, she broke HIPPA. Second of all, she was extremely unprofessional I couldn’t even handle speaking to her. You guys genuinely need to find better people to work in the ED. It’s pathetic. No one likes their job and you can tell.
