I am giving one star, because 1/2 was not an option. I have been a patient of Dr. Toce's for 6 years. I left a message for him on Monday at 9:06 am regarding having shortness of breath and swollen ankles and legs. I called again at 10:12 to see if he got my message and was told that the nurse checks messages between patients. I called again at 12:10 and was on hold for 10 minutes and finally spoke with his Nurse. She told me she would relay the message and he would get back to me. Due to my shortness of breathe and swollen legs, I reached out to my oncologist team at UCONN Health who immediately returned my call and sent me to the Emergency Room at 1:30pm. Dr. Toce's office finally returned my call at 5:15pm and said they received my message from this morning. I told her that I was

I cannot say enough about Dr. Toce and the staff at his office. They are very friendly and make you comfortable. Just when I thought good old fashioned doctoring was a thing of the past...Dr. Toce has an amazing bedside manor. He explained everything and patiently listened to my questions and concerns. I would hands down recommend this practice and Dr. Toce to anyone who needs a great Dr. that has a great, professional staff!
