Connecticut GI: New London - Bank St.

My experience with calling CTGI hasn’t been great, until today when Jackie answered. She was not only kind, polite, and professional, but was also knowledgeable and understanding. Dealing with insurance and Doctors offices in general can be very difficult and stressful for some people and being able to talk with someone like Jackie can make a huge difference! 5 stars are for Jackie specifically. I appreciate her more than I can express!

Poor service Very disappointed with the customer service. Made an appointment months in advance. So I could get an early AM appointment. They sent my script in to the pharmacy. Insurance denied that type of medication. CVS reapplied for a different prescription, they sent the same one. After calling Ct GI over several days I finally got a response. With that being taken care of, week before my procedure was scheduled a nurse called me. After answering all the questions she said ok , see you at 11:00 AM on Thursday. I informed her that I wanted an early morning appointment. The reason I scheduled it months before. She said that is the first appointment of the day for the doctor. Really what was the point of scheduling . I canceled and am currently seeing a more professional group. I suggest

The front office staff was friendly and approachable. The nurse was curtious and explained what she was doing and why. The Dr was smiling and spent time asking questions and listening to my issues, very professional. The only problem I had was finding the parking lot.

I was very pleased with how I was treated. I did read pre-read some negative write ups BUT I don't judge others by how they judge. All I can say I was reated respectively by all staff and the Doctor who talked with me was very polite. I don't have a problem recommending this organization. And I would like to thank the young Asian woman I don't recall her name, who was doing the pre-work on me for being so kind and concerned about how I felt. I appreciated her conscientious attitude and that isn't something she learned in her training but comes from a loving family establishing good hearted values. Wish I was more cognizant of her name. But if you know who she is, she should be complimented for her work.

I highly recommend Connecticut GI! They deserve a 10* Every employee there treated me excellent! Answered every question I had and never made me feel like my questions were not important. Very friendly, kind, extremely thorough, professional, I did not feel rushed and they were also fun and always smiling! Thank you for making my first time experience there the greatest!
