The woman I just spoke to on the phone was absolutely horrible. I tried taking my sisters appointment which I completely understood why I couldn’t take her appointment (since my sister didn’t need it anymore) cause I needed a new patient appointment which runs longer. So I said no worries I need one now so I won’t really need one in 2 months when they are booking appointments for- “so is she not coming then?” I said no and thought maybe I should book incase- however I COULDN’T cause she just hung up. Usually there’s some kind closing remark of saying well ok have a good one. I’ll find another place - not going somewhere where the intake lady has no sense of customer service. Looks really bad on the office.
I went to this practice for a potentially serious issue. My visit required follow-up lab work. A couple of days after my appointment I misplaced my aftercare instructions & called the office asking if they could email me them or post them in my portal. They said they couldn't do either. Fair enough. They offered to mail me them but I obviously needed them sooner so I asked if I could just come by & pick up a new sheet. They said I could do that or could talk to a nurse for the instructions, so I chose the latter option. Right off the bat, the nurse I spoke to was cold, dismissive, and acted like I was bothering her (several other reviewers over the last couple of years have shared similar feedback about their staff, both on Google and Yelp). The nurse just told me one thing to do but I kne
My daughter was seen here for her acne for almost 2 years. It took us longer to drive there than the amount of time the Dr spent with us. When she had a painful rash we were told "we can see her in a month". When we needed refills we followed their rules and requested it 3 different times through our pharmacy. When it hadn't been filled I tried to use their portal. When their portal wasn't working I tried to call. When I talked to someone I was told "you have to request through the pharmacy", when I explained I tried, they said " use the portal", when I said it's not working I was told "not sure what to tell you". I hung up frustrated. I had to ask her pediatrician to fill the meds. I made my daughter an appointment with my dermatologist. When I called to cancel her upcoming appointment th
This practice does not stand by their work. I rarely leave negative reviews (feel free to check my review history), but this situation calls for it. There needs to be some kind of checks and balances for a business—yes, business, because that’s exactly what this is—that operates this way. A couple of months ago, I visited to have some skin tags removed. The person treating me (no need to name names) applied a cold liquid and explained that the tags would fall off within 1–3 weeks. Well, it’s now been over two months, and most of them are still there. I reached out through their portal, assuming maybe this was just a fluke and hoping they’d offer a solution. Instead, I was told I’d need to book another appointment and be charged again like it was a brand-new visit. I pushed back, explain
I never thought I’d be writing a negative review for Comprehensive Dermatology, as this office was once the only place I trusted with my care. I have a painful cyst near my ear that flares up periodically, causing intense discomfort and inflammation. This office was the only one that ever offered effective relief — and up until recently, I experienced nothing but kindness and professionalism from the staff. That all changed over a $35 copay. Yes — thirty-five dollars. Not $300, not $3,500 — $35. When I was made aware of the outstanding balance, I paid it immediately. Despite that, I was informed that I had been dismissed as a patient. I’ve since made multiple phone calls, practically begging to be seen again. Each time, the answer has remained the same: No. I fully understand the impor
