Central Carolina Hospital

Went to my or evaluation today and had the pleasure of being partnered with an amazing pt therapist today named Jack! I can't wait to see how things work out with my PT and I hope Mrs Kimberly is just as amazing as he is this week when I return for my next or session and Jack I'm sure will continue to work with me on meeting my goals! Y'all don't give up hope so fast because here lately cch has been surprising me a lot with their changes in approaching their patients in a better way in most areas!

I just had my baby delivered there. I show up thinking I’m in false labor (I was not) they QUICKLY (less than 5 minutes) had someone down in the ER to take me up to l&d AND LET ME TELL YOU!! It was too late for me to get an epidural and I thought well shizz man I can’t do this (like I had a choice right?!) I was already 7cm dilated. The nurses were freaking amazing, talking me down from my panic (I was a messy mess with emotions and pain) holding my hand, walking me through what I needed to do and validating my reactions and feelings all the same. FINALLY baby boy pops out. They make sure I got IMMEDIATE skin to skin. After taking care of all the goopy grossness that the beauty of childbirth brings, they explained to me what they were doing and answered all of my questions as I asked them

I was sent to ER after appointment. I was told “ we are not treating you for cardiology” eventhough i have history of heart attack. They continued to do lab work but i feel reluctantly. The doctor came back in to room and said they considered me high risk, but acted like it was not important. Never saw this doctor after this time. Nurse came in to start IV and do labs at 3:30, and did not see or hear from another nurse until almost 6. During that time I went to CT and when they put medication in IV they blew the vein and had to take IV out . No one ever came to look at my arm, no BP was monitored… nothing until 6. They all need to do much better

We truly had a phenomenal experience at Central Carolina Hospital. We chose to have our second baby here, primarily due to several first-hand accounts I’d heard of them being a low intervention hospital supportive of natural births and offering birthing tubs. It was everything we could’ve hoped for. I had seen Holly Drake for the majority of my prenatal care at the Women's Clinic across the street and we were lucky enough to have her on call when we came in. She was so supportive of us doing it naturally, unmedicated, and encouraged me to labor and move about wherever and however felt best, including in and out of the tub. Came here twice one for and inducement felt so blessed to have the team I had and the c section surgery went smoothly. Recently came because I’m pregnant again and had some allergic reaction and was given a room very quickly and was helped in the best way they could. I Feel very trusting with the professionals at this establishment.
