Carolyn T. Cleary, MD, FAAP

Dr Cleary has been both of my children's pediatrician for 16+ years. She is intelligent, adept and incredibly kind. She is caring and helpful. The ideal personality for kids and their parents. I have had the best experience getting appointments and Elmwood peds has fit my kids in with sick visits anytime we have needed.

Dr. Cleary dissmisses parent concerns. Her social skills are weak and lacks empathy. She should not be working with children or families. If we trusted in her my daughters cancer would have been discovered too late and she would not be alive today.

Dr. Cleary has taken great care of all 3 of my kids for several years. She is smart, kind, and compassionate! All of my kids feel very comfortable with her!

My interactions with the nurse practitioner and office staff were so terrible that I transferred care. I had 2 visits at the office after the birth of our daughter. I had to call the office twice from the hospital to schedule my first appointment (and plead for them not to make me call a third time), because they wanted to make sure that my discharge was final before scheduling. I'm not sure why we couldn't have scheduled the appointment and called back if something changed... Then at the first visit the nurse practitioner made judgmental comments about my husband not being there for the visit. There are many other small things that contributed to my strong negative impression of this group, but in summary they were so unpleasant to deal with that I switched care. Also, as advice to parent
