Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital

If there was an option to give 0 stars or negative stars I would be giving those. This hospital needs to be closed down. Staff is horrible & needs retraining, need to be re educated and taught respect! Don’t take your kids here, they will rip your family apart for NOTHING. Just to be a Guinea pig to this sick system. They did 2 forensic test on my daughter over a proven UTI, kept us away from home & our family for a week, they ripped her taint completely, did an interview just to be told in the end this all was “Voluntary & not even on the books”! Like WHAT??? They wanna drug you up but send you out the door like you’re crazy & nothings wrong! I went to a different hospital after leaving here and they found out what was wrong while this one did nothing but drug me like a zombie. I would

I gave 2 stars bc the staff was great. I went into the er for a few stitches in my thumb. The staff was great, I was able to cut up with them and have as good of a time as I could in the situation. But the bill, holy crap, the bill. I was there for all of 2 hours and the slapped me with a $2300 bill for 5 stitches. No wonder why people would rather die than go to the hospital. Please do better.

Velocitycare referred me to the hospital for a burn on my finger back in 11/2025. I was at the hospital a grand total of 15 minutes for them to tell me to keep it wrapped. I received a large bill for no service rendered. When I spoke to the doctor, she told me that she would of helped me at Velocitycare if she was working there that day. Carilion has not helped to fix the insane bill amount for no service rendered.

In 2020 last day of October I was actively hemorrhaging from a miscarriage and told to go home, because my labs were fine. I knew I wasn’t fine due to the fact I had already bled through my clothes once and again at the hospital to the point I was bleeding all over the floor. The doctor had to confer with Roanoke because I told her I wasn’t leaving and had to advocate for myself while physically and mentally in distress. I was in a very fragile state at the time due to losing someone I loved deeply. This facility is a bad aide station at best and a morgue at worst. I filled an adult diaper with blood on the transport to Roanoke and proceeded to lose consciousness twice while staff in Roanoke attempted to catch me. I went to Emergency room on August 31st. Having some bleeding while my 3rd trimester. I came in with my phone charger and charging box. I was release and advised to go travel to Roanoke Hospital. I left my personal charger and box in emergency room 2. I called immediately after leaving and on way to Roanoke and when I called they confirms that both were left and going to be held for me to pick up next day. When I went back in next day they only had the charging wire. Box/ cube was missing I said I confirmed last night that both were left behind. I gave old enter lady details and description of what it looked like and what was written on it. She came out from the back demanding to know what ER was on it.
