Brantwood Nursing & Rehab Center

Well, tomorrow will be a sad day for our family, as we are moving my sister out of Brantwood tomorrow.   They do not have a lockdown unit, and she is trying to escape.   I had hoped my sister would take her last breath there. The hospital next door was such a blessing. I will not tell it is perfect, but what in life is? The love that she got, the friends she made. It has been amazing. If you have a family that needs help, I highly suggest it. If you are looking for perfection, look in the mirror; no one is!

visiting a loved one and had to report administrative staff that the aide never came to help us and had been gone over 3 hours needless to say she is still working there being just as rude as ever. it seems the building is ran by this particular aide.

The staff are the most caring wonderful folks you could ever ask for!!!! THEY ACTUALLY CARE!!! Admin is what it is and you have to do some footwork to secure a bed when it comes available, but it's that way everywhere. Our mother felt relief the minute we got her here from a larger facility in durham. The residence are happy here, they smile and talk, that really says it all right there. Loved ones are cared for like they are the family of the staff, they are kept clean and dry..... how wonderful that is; Its just beyond words. The staff here are mostly locals and it shows that folks from our community work so very hard to help take care of our family members and treat them with kindness and compassion for a short time or long term.

I was there last weekend visiting my grandmother and Chrystal was her CNA she was so patient with her. Chrystal communicated with her from the wheelchair transfer to the bed and personal hygiene. I could tell my grandma was very comfortable with her and that means a lot to me. It warms my ♥️ to know we still have people in this 🌎 that are working from the 💜. Recently tried to transfer my father here due to him needing long term skilled nursing care. Got nothing but the run around! Incredibly poor communication from the administration office! Changed their requirements daily, asked for 20k up front, then denied based on " he may not qualify for medicaid" (though he does due to his disability), finally said they wouldn't take him due to lack of ability by staff. We provided everything they asked for and even scrounged the 20k they asked for and they still made excuses about him not qualifying! Tabitha was unhelpful, unfriendly, and judgemental!
