Blossom Health Care Center

All these 5stars are a joke. The one nurse said they have them put in reviews. I am beyond disgusted and heartbroken by what I have witnessed at this establishment. No elder deserves to be treated with such blatant disrespect and neglect. The conditions are unacceptable — the facility smells strongly of feces, which alone speaks volumes about the level of care and sanitation being provided. Residents are left sitting on the toilet yelling out for help at a time when they are supposed to be supervised or assisted. Others are forced to wait so long to be taken to the bathroom that they end up relieving themselves in their beds, only to be left sitting in their own waste until a so-called nurse or aide decides to step away from their chair long enough to check on them. My dad spent two weeks here. My family considered ourselves partners with the team of caregivers at this facility. The nurses, aides, and cleaning crew could not have been kinder and more compassionate to my dad and us. They provided great care under very difficult circumstances. We also had the pleasure of working with the rehab team and each of them was extremely qualified and competent in the rehab they provided - speech, PT, and OT. The facility was being cleaned constantly and even the cleaning crew was kind and loving. My family will miss seeing the team at this facility and commend them for their dedication and commitment.

Our father entered the 2nd floor at Blossom Health Center a couple of weeks ago for rehab. Our experience there was amazing! The staff there from the receptionist, cleaning crew, attendants, nurses, therapists and doctors were all so caring, thoughtful, and kind. Every time you walked past someone who worked there they said hello and made us feel welcome. Thank you to all who cared for our dad while he was there. You are a very special group of care givers!

Staff was friendly, pleasant and helpful to our friend in room 206. The person giving medication was very patient, taking his time giving her her pill that was Mixed in with applesauce. The room was out of paper towels and someone said they would get housekeeping which was done promptly. Our friend who is the patient needed help with her tv selecting channels, and it was done immediately. I told the front desk. I was very impressed with the staff on the second floor

Looks to be pretty bad here. 3rd floor workers are all standing around talking. This is while the patients need attention. In general they could care less about the patients needs. How an employee could take this little pride in their work is incredible. Social worker has a dog fenced in. Very poor, dont recommend! Actually should be shut down.
