Have been coming here yearly for many years and have always had great experiences with the two doctors I have seen. Very knowledgeable about eye health which is super important. Would recommend.

Had my eye exam here recently since they take VSP. Probably one of the nicest optometrists I've met! Filling out the forms online before the exam was easy, and it seems they have a lot of availability for appointments. They provide sunglasses/shades if you get your eyes dilated.

I came to Dr. Huong feeling completely defeated by a persistent eye condition. After feeling unheard and dismissed by my other doctor, I randomly booked an appointment here simply because it was the only place that could see me right away. That decision turned out to be a blessing. Dr. Huong is truly one of the most professional, empathetic, and thorough doctors I’ve ever encountered. For the first time in a long time, I felt genuinely cared for. She took her time, listened closely, and worked with me to troubleshoot my condition. I finally left with a solution. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Huong and her dedication to her patients. Highly recommend.

I started having sudden flashes of light while visiting Berkeley and called to see if they could check out my retina. They got me in immediately and Dr. Hoang conducted an extremely comprehensive examination of my eyes and retina that lasted over an hour. Gentle, warm, knowledgeable, a clear communicator. Best optometry experience in decades. My highest recommendation.

really old school, hole in the wall spot. does everything by paper forms, keeps paper records of all patient files. i’ve worn contacts for 20 years and never had to return a contacts purchase due to improper fit, but i had this experience with this provider. the front desk also leaves a lot to be desired. when i called to schedule a refit, i was asked to email the doctor to communicate my issues. i asked why i couldn’t just schedule the refit appointment via front desk and was told “to avoid miscommunication”, which was a strange answer.
