Beaufort Drug Co

My wife and I had an issue with our insurance that caused it to lapse, unknowingly leaving is without any type of coverage just as we needed to refill some very important prescriptions. I had been told by our previous pharmacy, in WI, that the 2 prescriptions together were North of 1000$, without insurance. With insurance, we were paying around 100$ for both. So, I totally thought we were going to end up forking over 1000$, since our insurance had lapsed. NOPE! Our total at Beaufort Drug was something like 40 bucks! It was less without insurance at Beaufort Drug than we were paying with insurance in Wisconsin. This was just their cost... No assistance program, just fair and honest pricing. We recently switched to Beaufort Drug; after being displaced when our other pharmacy shut down. Everyone at this pharmacy is truly nice and go out of their way to give great service...and they know your name/face. So glad we chose this pharmacy...they are wonderful!

I moved to Beaufort recently and hadn't needed to establish myself with a pharmacy until recently. You know, it's one of those things you don't need, until you need it. :) Convenient to me were the chains, but honestly, I didn't want to go to a chain pharmacy, and after hours when I felt I didn't have a choice, the one that was open didn't seem to want my business, so I waited and called Beaufort Drug. Beaufort Drug isn't fancy, it doesn't have a drive thru window, but they will bring your meds out to your car if you call in and tell them you are there- says a sign on the door. From the moment I called them, to going inside to give them my insurance info, to the time I picked up my meds, they were absolutely fantastic.
