Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe

I just wanted to share my experience with Labor & Delivery at lakepointe I ended up having an urgent c section and was super nervous as first time mama. I wanted to say that every nurse from triage to my C-section to my after care and even my postpartum nurses were beyond AMAZING. I truly have never been experienced such amazing care for both me and baby and made my scary experience so much better. These nurses are absolutely ROCKSTARS cannot express this enough. I do want to say especially my postpartum day nurse Erika and night nurse Natalie were beyond helpful and so educational and I will say everyone here even techs and other staff too. They will always hold a special place in my heart for how they took care of me during this time. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART 💗🫶

I had to visit the ER at BS&W Lakepoint yesterday. I’m not a big fan of hospitals or even doctors. But I will say I was seen in about 3 minutes after I arrived. I was extremely nervous but Crystal (my assigned nurse) and Dr. Jaeggli immediately helped calm me down. They were very kind, professional and knew what they were doing which made a very stressful situation much easier for me. Crystal was very patient with me and treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy - she was genuinely friendly, attentive, and reassuring throughout my visit. But the most important thing that both Crystal and Dr. Jaeggli did was that they actually cared about me as a person! They took the time to listen and explain things clearly. Ok so I was skeptical about labor and delivery and post partum department because of some reviews but let me say, ANNA, EVE, and KATHERINE were the best nurses I have ever had ! during my labor, they were amazing and they even stayed longer in my shift to see my baby born . They were comforting and beautiful women inside and out and I was blessed to have them as my nurses . For post postpartum I had Jynna and Christina, both amazing nurses. They were very helpful as I struggled with breast feeding . They were there and helpful with any questions. My experience giving birth here was amazing . These women really deserve a medal for going above and beyond ! Thank all you women 🥰made this experience well worth it. Labor and delivery had some special women that day !

Had my baby on Dec 2nd and the staff was AMAZING. I had Katie & Lexi as my nurses and I genuinely miss them. We were laughing all night, they made me feel so comfortable & calm. I wish I could remember my baby nurse’s name but she was amazing as well. 10/10 experience for my first baby!!! Dr. Sharim made me feel so safe & comfortable during the epidural also!! That was the part I was most nervous about & it truly was not bad at all, and he talked me through the entire process so I’d know what to expect which was nice. I was so sad to go to my postpartum room and leave them but the staff over there was great as well, but I had such a great experience with Katie and Lexi that nothing will compare to them! My experience with Baylor Scott & White Lake Pointe has been nothing short of amazing. I recently gave birth to my first baby at this hospital and when I say the level of knowledge, expertise, and care that each of the departments gave me while under their care is unmatched. My delivery did not go as planned due to health complications and throughout the change in my labor and delivery process, my nurses, doctors, and other staff handled it with such ease and peace that I didn’t realize just how urgent my situation could have been.
