Anacortes Animal Hospital

I rarely come to this vet in Anacortes but sometimes when my other vet is to booked out and I really need to I come here. I have my senior citizen dog she turned 17 a couples months ago and I called the animal hospital to try and ask about what that process is like as this will be my first time having to lay one of my pets to rest. A lady answered and I started to speak and say that I was wondering what the process would be to getting my dog put down. As I started to talk about that she RUDELY and abruptly interrupted me and said can you wait a second and IMMEDIATELY put me on hold without hearing my response if I could wait or not. When she answered the phone she literally had said “this is the animal hospital, how may I help you” and interrupted me and put me on hold as I started talking

Doctor Anderson is the most loving vet I have ever known. I have had dachshunds for over 50 years. He truly loves his animals and has a kind heart that both the animals and the owners feel the first time they come to him. He has taken care of three of my dachshunds. The animals love him and can tell that he truly cares. I highly recommend him.

My parents have been going to Dr Anderson since before I was born over 40 years my sister and I both go to him today for our vetinarian need we know our pets are in good hands.

Worth the wait (first come first served). I honestly think this is one of the last "small town" ran businesses in town. They treat everyone like family, they aren't so pricey that you have to choose between bills and your pets care, and they listen when you have concerns. I'll continue to gonhere as long as Dr Anderson or Dr Jones are there- and after if it doesn't change too much.

I have been taking my pets there since 2000. Always get great service and care for my fur babies there.
