Sutter Health, located in the S.F. Bay Area, has asked me to review Dr. Amir Jamali. I've already posted a very detailed review of Dr. Jamali and his practice located in Walnut Creek, CA; The Joint Preservation Institute, following my Open Wedge High Tibial Osteotomy Surgeries in Jan. and Mar. of 2023, and you can find that review here in the Google space. I'm happy to offer another review of Dr. Jamali. It's been 3 years since those 2 surgeries. Dr. Jamali is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon whose knowledge and professionalism immediately inspire confidence. He has a wonderful bedside manner as he is calm, patient, and genuinely caring. What stands out most is how thoroughly he explains every step of the process, making sure you understand your options and feel comfortable with your care. He listens intently, never rushes you, and always lets you finish your thoughts before responding thoughtfully. It’s rare to find a physician who combines expertise with such compassion, but Dr. Jamali does exactly that. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking outstanding orthopedic care.

I have been seeing Dr. Jamali since and auto accident in 2022. I have been so impressed with his professionalism, kind and considerate approach to my treatment. When he recently relocated his practice to Oakland, I made the 6 hour round trip drive to continue to receive my medical care with Dr. Jamali. Within 2 days of my treatment, my shoulder was pain free!

Dr Jamali was patient, caring, and very attentive. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and made helpful suggestions. He checked in with me the next day to see if he could answer any questions that may have nit been addressed. I would highly recommend him.

Very professional bedside manner. I have bone on bone and bone spurs in my right hip that had flared up in a huge way after a surf trip. Lots of reasons for a replacement, but Dr. Jamali referred me to PT, things calmed down, and when I presented him with my newer situation and concerns about surgery in a pre-op meeting, he was quick to prescribe more PT and just see how it went for a while. Dr. Jamali definitely has my trust after the visits that I have had with him. When I do finally get this hip replaced, I believe it will be Dr. Jamali who does it.
